Summary
Pagefold is a browser-based PDF toolkit. Your PDF files are processed entirely on your device — they are never uploaded to us, never stored on a server, and never shared with third parties. We do not require an account and do not run advertising trackers.
Data we collect
Pagefold itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or any content from the PDFs you open. All merging, splitting, and organizing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
- No user accounts, sign-up, or login.
- No file uploads — your PDFs never leave your device.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies set by Pagefold.
- A small amount of local browser storage may be used to remember UI preferences. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Hosting and infrastructure
Pagefold is hosted on the Lovable platform. When your browser loads the site, the hosting provider may automatically process standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser user agent, and request timestamps) for the purposes of serving the page, security, and abuse prevention. This processing is performed by the hosting provider on our behalf and is limited to what is necessary to deliver the site to you.
For details on how the hosting platform handles this data, please see:
Optional support payments
If you choose to support Pagefold through a third-party tip or donation link, the payment is processed entirely by that third-party provider under their own privacy policy. Pagefold does not receive or store your payment details.
Cookies
Pagefold does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Your browser may store local technical state (for example, theme or layout preferences) strictly to make the app work as you expect.
Your rights under the GDPR
Because Pagefold does not collect or store personal data, we generally have no personal data to access, rectify, export, or erase. If technical information is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection set out in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR still apply. You may exercise these rights, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence, at any time.
Children
Pagefold is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
